On January 25th and 26th our precious little Sabre Pirates, Tim Kennedy and Nate Gerbe, will be featured in the Planet Hockey USA AHL All-Star Bonanza. Among many other names I don’t know – with the exception of Rory Fitzpatrick.
Some hockey player named “Tim Connolly” is heading back into the lineup for the Sabres for fridays game against the Rangers Captain Chris Drury. I don’t know this “Tim” they speak of but I hear he is “ok.” I think he’s a defensemen.

Toni Lydman is also heading backing into the lineup! Woo hoo for defense! His quote on playing with Ruutu is so Toni: “[With me] it’s kind of in one ear and out the other. Plus I don’t really get the jokes.”
Ruutu: Your mom, Toni. Your. Mom.
Lydman: I… yeah?
Ohhh yes and Ruutu was also suspended for two games. For biting. I must say I’m completely shocked the league even looked at that let alone give him TWO WHOLE GAMES! It’s a little funny…
