Game siiiiix.

Once again, Liveblogged (and Facebooked) with MYFOs. More props to Wrap. Buy her hot merch.

There’s just so much to say and I don’t know where to begin. Maybe, Marc Andre Fleury’s ass losing the Stanley Cup for the Pens is a good place to start (ouch!)? Maybe, Kristen Bell taking a sponge bath with Osgood is the best place to end (do you remember that part?)? I won’t go into detail because you’ve all seen the game. 

Period One:

Dinner date with NBC (they’re kind of dull). Detroit kicked off the scoring with a goal by Rafalski.

Period Two:

Goals by Filppula and Malkin.

Period Three:

Goals by Zetterberg and Hossa. Pittsburgh also had a very close chance of tying up the game, almost to the point where it might cause tears if you’re a Pens fan.

End Game. 3-2 Detroit. Red Wings are the new Stanley Cup Champions. For the ELEVENTH TIME. They still own the title of “Hockeytown.” Click here to relive the magic and/or nightmare [“Drinkware?”]. 

What I’ve learned:

1. Bing Crosby = Bing Crosby.
2. Old timers > Young timers.
3. MYFO likey the black jokes (and pizza bagels!).
4. Fergie loves Waffle Houses.
5. Rally chants only work if you’re Paul Gaustad. Chops was left unprotected.
6. We still don’t know the driver of Marshawn’s vehicle.
7. I’m not a very creative blogger in the Sabres post-season. Good thing Buffalo’s throwing a party for draft day! Everyone loves a good draft party.

Wait, wait. I called it. Detroit in six. I was actually RIGHT? WOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! Happy ending!

In case you wanted to know the score of USA & Spain, it’s 1-0 Spain. One. Nothing. Uhhh, no big deal. And still no word on where Cristiano Ronaldo’s future lies. Stayyyyy.

P.S. Today’s supposed to hit eighty-one degrees and then heat up as the week goes on. WHAT? YES! Go play. That’s an order.
