What happened to the Pens on Saturday? 4-0 Detroit? The tables have turned and the Pens were the team shut out. It’s only one game. However, as teachers like to remind us on a daily basis, one point could mean the difference between passing or failing. And Marc-Andre Fleury? My brother said, “That’s why I never run out onto the ice.” Poor guy. In the Stanley Cup Finals! I didn’t watch the entire game because I was attending a party, but I saw the pre-commercial recap of Fleury falling face-first onto the ice. That’s so embarrassing, but funny (in a cute way). I wonder if this is a “Pittsburgh Penguins” thing because I remember Geno tripping (getting off the ice) too. Don’t worry about it, Flurries! I’m a klutz too.
Sidney, whatever Mario said to you at faceoff, tell him never to say it again. Maybe he just needs to pimp his stiiiick. Where were those kids when I was young? Haaaa. So lame.
I don’t know about you (Sabre fans), but seeing the Pittsburgh fans back in the Mellon Arena made me want to throw up. Not that it’s their fault; I just miss Sabre fans in the HSBC when the Sabres were away. Sigh. I do enjoy the Finals, regardless of who’s there. I would just rather see Sabres and [fill in the blank] team playing. Could you imagine Pens & Sabres?! Fun! Oh, wait, I can imagine – the Winter Classic only, TEN THOUSAND TIMES BETTER.
A while ago, I mentioned a few things WNY needed to bring back. Well, I guess Thurman Thomas (and possibly Jim Kelly) agreed. We’re most likely getting arena football. I wasn’t serious about the whole “arena football” thing, but that’s pretty swell. I guess. I’ve never watched it but I hear it’s awfully boring. I suppose arena football is better than no football. I mean… you know… if Ralph Wilson isn’t cloned by 2012. We’re in no hurry. That’s my deadline by the way, 2012.
Sunday, The Top Ten Sabres vs. Flyers Playoff Games of the 1990’s was on the NHL Network. Only, it was really Spokane and Kitchener in the Memorial Cup. FYI, Spokane won 4-1. Wraparoundcurl is probably really happy right now!!!! The Chiefs sure are. “WOOOOOOOOOO!” Dustin Tokarski even won MVP.
I take it back, Fleury, at least you didn’t break the Memorial Cup. Oh, man. I guess everyone has his or her embarrassing moments, even hockey players. Don’t worry, Chris, it busted in your hands.

I think I’ve mentioned about a thousand times that my brother and I used a wooden Joe Thornton stick. Past tense. Well, yesterday we had a little fire at my household and invited a few people over. Someone [my father] decided, without any notice, they would burn it because we needed more wood. True, the blade was broken off and we couldn’t use it anyways. True, he made a nice little blueish-green flame. But still… we’re mourning the loss over here.

I am afraid that might happen to the Kelly Cup (ECHL) it’s pretty poorly put together. I held that once when I worked for a team in the ECHL and almost had that happen to me. LOL

They fixed the cup with stick wax so they could drink out of it immediately. I love my boys!
