NY & Pittsburgh: 3-2 Pens

Ranger Down: Dru was cut. Ryan Malone’s stick gets caught in the shield of Drury’s helmet and blood gushes from his face. No penalty. Even if you hate him, that’s not good. His face was stunned yet remained robot-like. Gotta keep it real, Dru. I don’t know how he does it because whenever he gets hurt, he just skates off like nothing happened. He’s already playing through pain. Maybe it’s just a guy thing.

I didn’t watch the whole game but somehow I always manage to always catch the highlights even if I don’t sit down and follow it. The Mellon Arena played the Sabres PP music (Drop Kick Murphy’s). “Punk Irish music” as my father calls it. He secretly likes it.

Laraque takes a little Ranger love tap. Ranger throws his stick. Slashing [?].

I’m really over that commercial for T.G.I. Friday’s with Guy Fieri (from the Food Network). He’s so bossy, always trying to tell me what to order. Back from the commercial, Hossa scores. Now Pittsburgh is playing our “Rock You Like A Hurricane” music when Rayzor, Mike and Kevin come back from break during games. They also tell us about how some Golfer likes the Sabres. Mellon Arena misses the Sabres too.

Malkin squirms around the Rangers in a Afinogenov/AO-like way down the zone and scores [!].

Clearly, more important things distracted me because the game is now 2-2 [?] and Ryan Malone is holding a towel to his face. Three guesses? Drury takes a hi sticking for a little retaliation, of course. The retaliator always gets caught. I don’t make the rules that just how it goes. Anyways, Jagr hates Ruutu for pushing him around.

DVR cuts out the game in OT right before Hossa scores the GWG. Nice. If the Rangers hadn’t of killed Dru’s penalty, it would’ve been his fault they didn’t make it to the next round. They died anyways.

And that’s my one hundred-word essay on the reasons why Hockey is fun.
